The Nurse Practitioner-Primary Health Care (NP-PHC) will work with diverse client populations across the health-illness continuum (CNO, 2011). Specifically, the NP-PHC will triage, assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor clients with a variety of acute or chronic illness and injuries. The NP-PHC functions interdependently with other EKNPLC staff to provide shared, client-centered care that emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and client education. The NP-PHC provides primary health care within the full scope of practice to clients at all stages of their lives. The NP-PHC will deliver care in accordance with EKNPLC policies and professional practice standards, with a focus on health education, chronic disease self-management, and illness/injury prevention for diverse clients of all ages.
Salary: $82,000.00 to $82,400.00 /year
